Nepali Music has just evolved.
With her new album, “Sabai Thikai Hunchha”, a Nepali girl from Canada Astha Tamang Maskey made Nepali listeners feel that Nepali music has just evolved. With an international style in Nepali flavour yet original, she had proved that the real original nepali music is something different what comes in albums these days.
Also to add, her english numbers are excellent and praised a lot in Canada, while nepali songs will sound like something is still missing. And that’s the quality, which has not been upto an international quality, as we all know, Nepal still lacks production experts.
Lastly, Astha took music as a career only after studing Independent Music Production at Seneca college, Canada. Hope this will inspire Nepali wannbe music artists to study about music before entering this field, which would definitely bring more hope to Nepali Music and the industry.
